Infra-Lex is a range of products using advantaged infrared technology. Our approach is to prove beneficial application of IR technologies in specific areas working closely with customers. Products are available through Anglo-Dutch Applied Technologies Ltd (ADAPT).

Mike Coombs
Chairman & Chief Financial Officer
In addition to his role in Infra-Lex Mike also acts as consultant CFO at Nur Energie Ltd, a concentrated solar power (CSP) developer specialising in utility-scale projects in the Mediterranean where he is also Chairman of the company’s French subsidiary specialising in the development and sale of solar PV projects. He also provides part-time strategic financial leadership to SMEs in his role as a Principal of the Finance Director Centre FDC .
Before joining Nur Energie in 2011 he spent the previous five years as Group CFO of Renewable Energy Systems Ltd (RES) an international wind power developer which saw annual sales revenue increase from £160m in 2006 to >£500m by 2010. He also sat on the boards of subsidiary companies which targeted investment opportunities in other renewable and low carbon technologies including biomass, geo-thermal, solar and sustainable building consultancy.
Before RES Mike was Group Finance Director of Biwater an international water utility and construction group where he sat on the boards of Biwater Plc and Cascal BV, a JV with the Dutch power company Nuon.
Mike is a Chartered Accountant (FCMA, GCMA) with more than 15 years of senior board experience.
Dr Dave Gilbert
Chief Executive Officer
Dave works with customers to develop new products for the group and evaluate performance of existing products.
Dave trained as a Physicist at Bristol University gaining a first class honours degree and went onto to take a PhD in applied materials at Cambridge University where he published several papers. He subsequently joined a large oil multinational in their research area and worked in various technical and project leader roles developing applications for polymers and advanced materials. Dave worked in laboratories in the UK, France and Switzerland until 2000. During this period he studied for an MBA and moved onto business performance, planning and strategy roles until 2006.
In 2006 with the growing concerns about anthropogenic impacts on the environment he decided to start working in sustainable technologies. Since then he has been supporting small and large businesses with process, technology development and commercialisation in areas ranging from alternative energies; in particular wind, technology access, venturing, intellectual property and energy efficiency.
Paul van Uum
Manufacturing and Production Adviser
Paul is CEO and co-founder of Rolateme BV, designers and manufacturers of high quality stainless steel products for the agricultural, construction and leisure sectors whose principal markets are in Holland, Germany and the UK. Prior to co-founding Rolateme BV in 2009, Paul spent 20 years with Rabo Bank NL including 5 years in senior corporate lending roles.
